An instance is shown below, demonstrating the value of gas of a non-smart-contract transaction and creating a smart contract. Is this a hash of the data itself or is it the hash of proof that data is not tampered with? Only by being GDPR compliant, Cpchain could flourish. How is cpchain incorporating GDPR (General data Protection Regulation) in their infrastructure?
They can store their data in amazon S3, IPFS, or anywhere else. We have developed a open transmission protocol(OTP) that allows PDASH to compatible with any kinds of external storage. Thus, a normal transaction requires 21,000 gas, while a smart contract is created at a cost of gas.

CPChain places user privacy at a very important position. The main chain contains only the hash of data for information verifications; the original data will be effectively protected in our system. In PDASH for example, I’ve read that the main chain contains the hashes of the data.
Transactions with high gas price have higher chance being selected by committee, and further get inserted into the chain. In comparison, a low gas price demands low cost of tokens, by sacrificing the possibility of being verified by committee. All operations in CPC is not conducted free. An amount of tokens are cost as operation fees, whose unit is denoted by Gas. Gas is measured by the amount of computational overheads when executing a certain operation.

Even the transaction fails, like an abnormal contract involving gas outnumbering gas limit, the system does not refunds deducted fee. The rationale is that committee members have assumed their responsibility of verifying this transaction at the cost of their computing overheads, which should be rewarded with transaction fee.
By implementing CPChain gateway hardware at key components of vehicles such as OBD, all the driving data can be integrated into the user interface for the driver. The PDash tokenization strategy rewards valid transactions and punishes fraudulent ones.

Or is it an application which is run on the client side which communicates with the main chain? The current version of PDASH has some improvements in the area of storage, we don’t limit the type of storage, and users are free to choose where to store their data. It can be distributed IPFS, or it can be a centralized cloud storage platform, such as Amazon S3. If IPFS, service providers are responsible for these issues. We have a set of OTP protocols that are compatible with all types of external storage.

An RNode can serve as a proxy helping other nodes complete transactions. Its RPT is augmented after assuming the responsibility as a proxy. Transactions here include all transactions sent by a given user.
Proxy configuration
CPChain’s ecosystem is established by a lot of Internet of Things (IoT) enterprises, developers and users. As a result, CPChain will divide the incentive system into two stages.
Provider mode assists users publishing their data, which invovles encrypting and storing data on the external storage, uploading data description to the market, communicating with the relay proxy for data transmission, etc. Read Contract allows you to query and retrieve information of the Smart Contract. These read-only functions do not require a web3 wallet to interact.
TX score is evaluated by all transactions statistics. The distribution of transactions can follow a long tail distribution or power laws. Reputation Nodes have the right to be elected as a proposers committee member and to be granted rewards from the Blockchain.

The definition of transactions can be expanded as the of CPChain ecosystem develops. CPChain comes with 5 built-in smart contracts to ensure normal operations of DPoR. Other contract files in out code repository are either abandoned or not yet activated. Due to the lack of space in this page, we explicate all five smart contracts in Built-in Smart Contract.
Gas limit is tunable parameter when a node applies for a transaction. We also offer a default setting for it, preventing the node from being drained out. It limits the upper bound of transaction fees in a contract, and avoid a contract involving unexpectedly high gas. This kind of situation occurs when an error, like too much loops, is embedded in the contract. Interested reader can refer to Reward Smart Contract to check detailed smart contract implementation.
In the first stage, CPChain Foundation would be the main fund provider, for the ecosystem establishment and the chain maintenance. The next stage is mainly performed by the market. With the optimization of CPChain ecosystem and the increase in data sharing and transferring, the reward for RNodes will mainly be generated by smart contracts and market transactions.
