RightMesh Announces Offline Emergency Communications App following USD $18 Million Financing
RightMesh enables direct peer-to-peer connectivity via Wi-Fi, W-Fi direct and Bluetooth without the need for a central internet service provider (ISP). residents are expressly excluded from contributing in exchange for any RightMesh Tokens in the public contribution period. RMESH tokens will be used in the RightMesh network for sharing data connectivity, access to additional device resources and the purchase and sale of goods and services on a peer-to-peer basis within the RightMesh ecosystem. The world’s first software-based, ad hoc mobile mesh networking platform and protocol using blockchain technology and RMESH tokens to power growth. As the possibilities enabled by RightMesh and SingularityNET indicate, it’s the combination of emerging technologies that will ultimately have the greatest impact on people's lives.
RightMesh is the world's first software-based, ad hoc mobile mesh networking platform and protocol, according to the company. The RightMesh SDK is scheduled for public release Q4 2018, and the RMESH token is expected to be active on the Mainnet later this year. In this talk, delivered March 24, 2018, at the #DiscoverBlockchains event in Portland, OR, I discuss how mesh networks combined with #blockchain will create a world capable of providing emerging markets with a Universal Basic Income. To learn more about how to participate in the RightMesh public Crowd Contribution Period starting May 30th, please see theRightMesh TGE Web Pageor join the officialRightMesh Telegram Group.
RightMesh AG, a Swiss Company, is on a mission to bring connectivity to the next billion users by multiplying the combined power of blockchain, mobile mesh networking, and its own RMESH tokens. RightMesh wireless networks are self-forming, self-healing, and self-regulating, using various technologies in existing smartphones and IoT devices rather than relying on traditional infrastructure and Internet Service Providers.

The mesh-enabled Flare app is intended to serve as a staple in any emergency preparedness kit. Just as people stock up on bottled water, people can download the Flare app as a backup for communication in case of disruption to phone and Internet service. Earlier this month, RightMesh launched a pilot in Rigolet, Labrador for an app called eNuk. It was conceived of by a Rigolet resident and built by a combination of community members, local government officials, and researchers at Newfoundland's Memorial University and the University of Guelph in Ontario. This technology is game-changing for rural or remote areas that rely only on internet service providers (ISPs) fixed wireless and satellite facilities without access to LTE networks.
In this case, the democratization of AI will be enabled through blockchain technology and mesh networking. Only the future will tell what other unimagined capabilities these technologies could give rise to when leveraged together. The Token Generating Event (TGE) will provide an opportunity for interested parties to contribute funds in exchange for the reward of MESH tokens. The tokens will be used within theRightMeshecosystem, allowing users to pay others within the network for data and device resources. Content providers, app developers, game makers, and big brands are some parties interested in MESH tokens as a way of reaching billions of currently unreachable people.
Due to a last-minute regulatory query from the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) located in British Columbia, Canada, the company had chosen to postpone its originally scheduled date of March 27th while it consulted with the regional authorities. SingularityNET, a decentralized AI network that integrates blockchain and diverse AI technologies, is on a mission to make AI accessible to the world;RightMesh, a mobile mesh networking protocol and platform which likewise integrates blockchain technology, is on a mission to connect the next billion users and lift 100 million people out of poverty. Together, they have the potential to drive digital inclusion by making AI and ML accessible as a global common for all. This release constitutes a description of the RightMesh platform and the functionality of the RightMesh tokens; it is for informational purposes only and may change as the RightMesh technology develops over time. The overarching mission of RightMesh is to connect the world using only the devices people already own - smartphones and IoT devices.
Left is a certified B-Corp and RightMesh is governed by the same principles of using business as a force for good. RightMesh is a software-based mobile mesh networking protocol that is 'infrastructureless' meaning it could be embedded into existing applications or used to build new mesh-enabled applications that do not require additional hardware or Internet connectivity to transmit data between people, applications, or devices over short distances.
The TGE officially begins onFebruary 15th, 2018 when MESH Tokens will be made available to the community in exchange for contributions to the project. Each contributor must go through comprehensive KYC/AML requirements, and the contributions will only be processed and accepted via Bitcoin Suisse AG, a Swiss-based financial service provider specializing in crypto-assets.
Vancouver, BC, February 7, (T-Net)--RightMesh, a company using mesh networking and blockchain technology to enable offline connectivity has announced Flare™, a mesh-enabled application that will act as an "emergency communications kit" when all other forms of communication fail. This technical paper is intended as a supplement to the RightMesh White Paper, which more broadly provides an overview of the opportunity for RightMesh and the RightMesh Token Generating Event. The document makes the technical case for a tokenized mobile mesh network for smart phones, sensors, and other IoT devices. RightMesh, in an abundance of caution, is not undertaking a public sale of its tokens in either Canada or the US. Pre-registration as a Bitcoin Suisse client is required for all contributors and can be foundhere.
This means we'll need to keep track of key exchanges in memory and redo them every time a peer joins the network. "The recent tsunami alert right here in British Columbia reminds us just how quickly a disaster can strike. We are building Flare to help those in need at times when the Internet, Social Media and mobile connectivity are not available." says Lyotier.

We are putting the power of connectivity right into the hands of the people with self-forming, self-healing, and self-regulating, mobile mesh networks that use various technologies in existing smartphones and IoT devices rather than relying on traditional infrastructure and Internet Service Providers. RightMeshGmbH (a Swiss Company in incorporation), incubated by multi-award winning parent companyLeft, who itself is a certified B-Corporation located in Canada, is on a mission to bring connectivity to the next billion users by multiplying the combined power of blockchain, mesh networking, and its own MESH tokens. RightMesh’s networking technology is already used in a content-sharing and local messaging app called “YO! ” which has received over 1 million installs, and is actively used in emerging markets.

An additional concept RightMesh has been developing is a drone that can function as a node in the mesh to enhance Flare's utility to help rescue efforts. With the autonomous connectivity of the mesh network, the drone could fly over affected areas and instantly detect autonomous blast messages or 'Flares' asking for help from within 100 metres or anyone that is mesh connected. The drone could then return to a base or Internet-connected zone to relay the information to rescue workers. This piggybacking effect uses the radio technology already inherent in the devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi direct), and each "node" spreads the radio signal a little further than the last. A recent example of this technology used successfully in a disaster was when a mesh network in Red Hook helped people communicate when the internet was down after Hurricane Sandy, or when protesters used a mesh network in Hong Kong to organize off the grid.
